  • IMPORTANT: 2ND Marking Period Grades

    Dear HSLPS Parents and Guardians,

Please read through this email as it contains important information regarding your child's academics.

On April 30th, the second marking period ended, and the final marking period, Monday, May 3rd. The grades that your child earns at the end of this final marking period will determine whether or not they pass the class and earn credit towards graduation. Our schools' grades are cumulative, therefore, if your child did not pass or earned a low grade in a previous marking period, they have the opportunity to improve their grades up during this last month and a half of classes.  The last day of classes will be June 16th, 2021.

Report cards can NOW be accessed by logging into your NYC DOE Parent Portal, and via PupilPath by selecting 'Grades' at the left hand side of the screen, and clicking 'Report Card'. Once you are brought to the Report Card page, choose Marking Period 2. Printed copies of the report cards will be given to each student that attends school in-person, and a copy will be mailed to you shortly.

Any grade of NX indicates that the class was not passed and is a grade of incomplete.  In order to bring that grade up to a passing score in those classes, your child must pass this last marking period (which started on Monday May 3rd), AND make up any priority assignments they may have missed.
